Ariane Michel, the French artist and filmmaker creates
ambitious film installations in which the
piece's environment plays an essential
creative role.
The Screening takes you on a journey into
the woods. The lights are extinguished
and a film projection begins. It is a surreal
experience. As you watch the film,
you gradually get the impression of
watching yourself on screen together
with the wild animals in the surrounding
woods. A visually stunning and
unique cinematic adventure.
The Screening will be held at the Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. There will be a short walk to the event site; suitable shoes & clothing advised.
This event is part of Fiction & Non-Fiction, one of Crossing the Line 2011's three curatorial program perspectives. |
