The Multi-Arts Incubator is a collaborative studio course that brings together MFA students from all areas of Columbia University's School of the Arts to work collectively across disciplines, and to develop new projects and artistic relationships. The course is taught by Gideon Lester, Director of the Arts Collaboration Lab at Columbia. The spring '11 Incubator students worked in interdisciplinary groups to develop three projects in response to the history, geography, and anthropology of New York's Museum Mile. Presence is one of these projects.
