CTL Questions for the Artist
In a word, what is the source of your inspiration?
My curiosity about the relationship between the audience and the artist is what fuels the question and answer portion of the performance. I am currently re-working "I Am Trying To Hear Myself" (which is the dance that will be presented, originally commissioned by the New Museum in 2008). Psychosexual power struggles and the the dissociative quality of solipsism drive the work.
What does Crossing the Line mean to you?
To pass boundaries.
What’s your favorite NY spot?
Currently I love the Williamsburg Bridge.
Cupcake or Macaroon?
If I had to decide between those two I would choose a macaroon. However, I prefer I flourless chocolate cake.
What is the current soundtrack of your mind?
Schubert's Piano Trio No.2 in E Flat
