Since posing this provocative question, New York choreographer Trajal Harrell has meshed these parallel traditions to reveal sharp perspectives on race, gender, and notions of identity. For the first time in the U.S., experience the whole series in one week—from extra small (XS) to made-to-measure (M2M).

About Trajal Harrell

Trajal Harrell is a Bessie award-winning choreographer and performance maker whose socially engaged work has been presented at venues such as The Kitchen, Danspace Project, The New Museum, PS122, and MoMA in New York, and around the world at the Festival d’Automne and Festival d’Avignon in France among others. He premiered (S), the first piece in the Twenty Looks of Paris is Burning at The Judson Church seriesas part of Crossing the Line 2009.
