Paris-bred American pianist Jacky Terrasson can reach inside weary jazz standards and turn them inside out, creating breathtakingly new musical creatures. A Blue Note artist, two-time Grammy nominee, and Thelonius Monk Competition winner, Terrasson has collaborated with everyone from Ray Brown to Betty Carter. This fall, he comes to perform works from his newly released, first solo recording, Mirror, featuring originals, upended standards, and musical nods to his French-American heritage.
