At the Beginning, Monteverdi

Grades 6–12. Part of Education Outreach: Young Audience Program.

Renowned French cellist Sonia Wieder-Atherton, together with two fellow cellists, will take students on a musical trip, discovering the works of Renaissance composer Claudio Monteverdi. For the first time, the students will be invited into Le Skyroom, FIAF’s intimate rooftop venue, for a specially designed, lounge-style production.

Followed by a Q&A session with the musicians.

At the Beginning, Monteverdi will also be presented for all audiences from Oct 2 to Oct 4
during Crossing the Line: FIAF Fall Festival 2008.
