Full of whimsy and mystery, Aurélia’s
Oratorio is a dazzling display of stage
illusion that draws inspiration from the
worlds of music hall, variety, and circus
to create a concoction of illusion and
fantasy. The lithe and beautiful Aurélia
Thierrée inhabits a whimsical and twisted
fantasy world where dresses dance, kites
fly their people, and puppets run amok.
In the fantastical tradition of Tim Burton
and Edward Gorey, Aurélia’s Oratorio appeals to dreamers of all shapes and
sizes. Conceived and directed by Victoria
Thierrée Chaplin, Aurélia’s Oratorio is an
inspiring cultural ambassador exhibiting
the best and most exhilarating qualities
of French performance, past and future.
