An original solo performance developed by Aurélien Kairo, J’arrive ! is inspired by the athleticism and moves of contemporary hip-hop dance and the traditional songs of celebrated Belgian singer Jacques Brel. Kairo, who trained with rap group DNC and is currently artistic director of the De Fakto Company, blends the rhythm and energy of hip-hop with Brel’s iconic and romantic songs to create a lively and humorous dance.
