Grades 6–12
School Groups Only
Based in Paris and New York, the Company is led by its Artistic Director Stefanie Batten Bland, who has danced for such choreographers as Bill T. Jones, Pina Bausch, Lar Lubovitch, and Angelin Preljocaj.
This fall, three dancers from the Company will perform Polished Hoes, while Bland, hailed by The New York Times as “an exuberant dancer,” will present her new solo Terra Firma with music from an American French-Creole song. This work addresses themes
of immigration and integration in the United States.
A Q&A in French and in English will follow the performances.
