Diane Venet, guest curator of the
fall exhibition “Picasso to Koons:
Artist as Jeweler” at the Museum of
Arts & Design, and editor of The Artist
as Jeweler (Skira, October 2011),
discusses modern artists who have
designed unique pieces of jewelry.
Drawing on examples from her
personal collection, Venet highlights
beautiful wearable sculptures by César,
Jeff Koons, and Max Ernst, among others.
The talk will be followed by a book
signing and reception.
