The
French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) is fast becoming the destination
for French culture in New York, presenting a unique mix of
arts programs including music, dance, theater, cinéma,
and visual arts. FIAF's highly acclaimed cultural platforms, Crossing
the Line and World Nomads,
are presented annually in fall and spring respectively. CinémaTuesdays screenings
feature classic and contemporary French films, and the FIAF
Gallery regularly exhibits contemporary French artists.
Learn more about French culture through Art
de Vivre—a lifestyle series that features culinary
and wine classes, as well as conversations with French designers,
artisans, and authors.
Crossing
the Line
Crossing the Line, FIAF's annual fall festival, presents
three weeks of inter-disciplinary contemporary works by performers
and artists who are transforming cultural practices on both
sides of the Atlantic.
