Cultural Events
The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) is the destination for French culture in New
York, presenting a unique mix of arts programs including
music, dance, theater, cinéma, and visual arts. FIAF's
acclaimed cultural platforms, Crossing
the Line and World
Nomads, are presented each fall and spring respectively. CinémaTuesdays features
weekly screenings of classic and contemporary French films. Art
de Vivre, a lifestyle series, gets you up close with
French designers, artists, and authors, and features exclusive
culinary and wine events. The FIAF
Gallery exhibits intriguing works by French and American artists. Rendez-Vous, Cercles de lecture, and other events en français offer opportunitites to socialize and practice French. The Young Audience Program introduces New York school students to French culture and language. Kids & Family programs offer fun activities, CinéKids screenings, and performances for the entire famille.

of transdisciplinary artists who are transforming cultural
practices on both sides of the Atlantic.
