| Following the success of the first
Val-de-Marne exhibition in September 2006,
six artisans from the Parisian Arts Design
return to FIAF with a new collection
of home decor, fashion, and accessories.
Browse the collections of these talented
designers and discover creations
of outstanding craftsmanship, unique
to the Val-de-Marne Paris region. |
DBM Chapelier
Using a rare, antique set of tools, DBM Chapelier employs traditional hat- and cap-making techniques with unusual, yet innovative materials such as aluminium and glass fiber. |
Sylvia Corrette
Creator of whimsical and elegant table settings, including dinnerware, flatware, and linens. Each design is created around a specific theme, giving Ms. Corette’s creations a unique character. |
Florence Croisier
Employing light materials such as titanium and aluminium, Ms. Croisier creates contemporary jewels of subtle colours and uncluttered shapes for both men and women. |
Birgit Guntner
A contemporary fashion designer, Ms. Guntner creates elegant women’s day and eveningwear lines, using only washable and wrinkle-free fabrics. Each creation is made exclusively in France, employing local materials from regional producers. |
Kumiko Nakayama
Fascinated with the Provençal quilting technique, “boutis,” Ms. Nakayama mastered the art, creating graceful fabrics, clothing, and furniture. Each piece employs this traditional French style. |
Lotta et djossou
Original creations, made in Paris, full of spirit and simplicity, that are created with a base of silver and layered with jewels of varying colours and textures. |
