Young
rising-star pianist Inna Faliks explores the drama and imagery
of the Romantic and Impressionistic periods through the music
of Frédéric Chopin and Maurice Ravel. During this concert
performance and conversation, Faliks will present works by
both composers, bringing to life the drama of their creations.
She will include readings of the symbolist poetry of Aloysius
Bertrand and other texts that inspired the composers, thus
illuminating their roles in periods of artistic turmoil and
discovery. |
