In conjunction with World
Nomads Haiti, FIAF’s John & Francine
Haskell Library invites you to discover the rich
texture of Haitian literature.
A poster exhibit will feature ten of today’s most prominent
voices of Haitian literature: Marie-Célie Agnant, Dominique
Batraville, René Depestre, Frankétienne, Dany Laferrière,
Yanick Lahens, Kettly Mars, Jean Métellus, Evelyne Trouillot,
and Gary Victor.
A special display in the main reading room of the Library
will highlight books by Haitian writers from the Library’s
collections, including short stories, poetry, novels, and
works for children.
