Bernadette Lafont, the iconic French
actress considered to be a major
face of New Wave cinema, will read
a selection of letters in French written
by the celebrated film director
François Truffaut to actors, friends,
and other collaborators.
Truffaut’s letters reveal unknown
sides of his personality and offer an
insider’s look at cinema and French
cultural life in the ‘60s.
Lafont, who
will also share unpublished letters sent
to her by Truffaut, will take audiences
beyond the great man’s films.
