Dance
La Vie en Rose

Wednesday, February 13 at 11am & 1pm

Tell a Friend

For grades 6-12
Performed by Pascal Rioult Dance Theatre

The enchanting and evocative cabaret songs of Edith Piaf set the mood for La Vie en Rose, a suite of expressive vignettes offering a glimpse into the every day lives and relationships of the characters onstage. In each brief and personal tableau, the dance evokes feelings of love, ambition, lost love, and vulnerability. The company will lead a lecture and demonstration in English prior to the performance, in order to highlight the important link between lyrics and dance.

Part of Education Outreach: Young Audience Program, a special program, for school groups, that presents educational and entertaining events selected for their artistic excellence and their connection with French and Francophone cultures.
