As
one of the most read and produced French-language writers
in the world, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt has experienced an extraordinarily
diverse career. His works have been translated into more
than 40 languages and produced in 50 countries. He has met
with huge success both on stage and in bookstores. His novels
include the much-loved Oscar et la dame rose, which
is the basis for this January’s production of Oscar
and the Pink Lady in Florence Gould Hall, starring
Rosemary Harris.
Join FIAF for this unique in-person discussion and book-signing
with this most fascinating author, playwright, and now movie
director. Marjolijn de Jager, who translated Oscar et
la dame rose into English, will moderate the discussion.
