To coincide with the release of the
English edition of her book, acclaimed
French writer Katherine Pancol discusses The Yellow Eyes of Crocodiles (Les Yeux
jaunes des crocodiles), with the book’s
translator William Rodarmor.
This award-winning novel centers on Joséphine, a frumpy medieval history
scholar who agrees to ghostwrite
a 12th-century romance for her chic,
wealthy sister in exchange for money.
Everything goes according to plan
until the book becomes the literary
sensation of the season.
Talk will be followed by a book signing.
