FIAF celebrates fashion with Headpieces for
Peace by award-winning multimedia
artist Jessica Sofia Mitrani.
Originally commissioned by the fashion collective threeASFOUR for their exhibition Insalaam Inshalom shown in Tel Aviv in 2011, the installation
presents a wry examination of fashion
and feminism, two themes central
to Mitrani’s work.
Winner of the 2012 A Shaded View
on Fashion Film (ASVOFF) Grand Prix,
this short video confronts serious
themes in a quirky and humorous way.
