With Juliette Binoche
Join acclaimed actress Juliette Binoche and her sister,
director Marion Stalens, for a not-to-be-missed screening
of their new documentary. Through Juliette Binoche, Sketches
for a Portrait, Stalens gives audiences a new view of
the Oscar-winning actress by providing a window onto her
artistic life beyond the red carpet. This portrait explores
Binoche’s complex personality as an artist, revealing her
artistic depth by capturing her throughout 2008 at work on
a variety of different projects in disciplines ranging from
cinema to dance to painting. The close relationship between
the director and her subject infuses the film with a sense
of intimacy and authenticity that invites the public to share
in this extraordinary artist’s world.
After the screening, Binoche and Stalens will participate
in a question and answer session moderated by esteemed journalist
Charlie Rose. |
