An animated work of art set in ancient
Egypt, Princess of the Sun tells the story
of the fourteen-year-old Princess Akhesa
who is ordered to marry Prince Tutankhamun.
Unhappy at the prospect, she rebels against
her father and with the help of the Prince
sets out to find her mother, Queen Nefertiti,
who has been exiled to Elephantine Island.
The two teenagers embark on an adventure
as they travel down the Nile and bravely
confront the mercenary priests who
conspire to overthrow Akhesa’s father,
Pharaoh Akhenaton.
