Intermediate B1 • French 303
In this level you will work to reinforce oral and written communication skills while working your way up to interact about familiar and personal interests, to express ideas, aspirations, and opinions. At the end of this level you will be able to handle most situations while traveling in a French-speaking country and to understand the main points of any conversation with a native French-speaker. The Intermediate B1 level consists of 4 classes: 301, 302, 303, and 304. Level 303 is the third level of this tier.
Through interactive and multimedia activities, texts, and course books you will learn to encourage someone and promote solidarity, talk about your goals, consider a work of art and engage in a debate. Culturally, you will focus on action and solidarity as well as the great French artists. At the end of this class, you will be able to situate conversations more complexly into space and time as well as use deeper and more enriched vocabulary.
After completing this Level 303 class, you will continue with the Level 304 Intermediate B1 class.
*Important Note: Starting Fall 2015, you will use the Saison 3 text and workbook for this class. Returning FIAF students who have previously taken a class with the Alter Ego books will receive a free copy of the new Saison 3 textbook and workbook—pick up your copy at the Language Center office after you register.
