Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal & family info, shopping, local geography, employment).
Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate Basic need.  
Rond Point 1 (Unit 5, 7)

Helps you develop your conversational skills in everyday situations.

Oral skills:

At the end of this course, you will be able to: Talk about what you did in the past few days / Talk about what you did during your vacation / Talk about jobs and education / Give advice to someone who is looking for a job / Order in a restaurant and ask for the check / Talk about food an quantities / Express your satisfaction and dissatisfaction / Learn about French savoir-vivre.

Written skills:

At the end of this course, you will be able to: Write a short letter using the past tenses / Write about what you studied and your professional life / Write a letter to give your opinion on the last movie you saw / Write a recipe.

Consolidates your conversational skills in French.

Oral skills:

At the end of this course, you will be able to: Talk about your schedule (in the past and for the near future) / Get and give information about a trip / Make comparisons and describe places / Express and contrast your opinon.

At the end of this course, you will be able to write: a recommendation for a place to visit / a short brochure about your city / a letter to a magazine to give your opinion on a place you like.

At the end of this course, you will be able to: Express feelings and desires/ Interview someone / Invite someone / Locate and indicate a place / Describe someone / Describe and comment on a show / Accept or refuse a proposal .

Written skills:

At the end of this course, you will be able to write: a to-do list / an ad for an apartment to share / an email to confirm an invitation / a formal letter.
