In this course, you will work with international French theater director and acting coach Aurelia Nolin, (Alexander Technique Teacher, ACAT, AmSAT certified). You will improve your French through the liberating tools of theater and the Alexander Technique. The focus of this class is on presence, stress relief, as well as vocal and breathing techniques.

It is not necessary to be bilingual to participate as we will accommodate all levels. French native speakers are welcome to join also!

Day 1: Alexander Technique Introduction. Body language and what it unveils without our knowledge.

Day 2: Presence & Voice. Warm Up Speech.

Day 3: Circles of presence, or how to interact better.

Day 4: Public Speaking.  Breathing.

Day 5: Conveying the Intention. Voice.

 

About the Teacher
Aurelia Nolin, has completed her training at ACAT in New York City and is an AmSAT certified teacher. She is a French actress, theatre director and teacher, and has worked internationally. She has acted in films (Summer Tales by Eric Rohmer), television and theater. In 2003, she founded The International Institute of Performing Arts, a nonprofit organization for continuing performing arts education. The Institute produced hundreds of training workshops in Europe which invited international artists to teach and share their artistry and technique.
