French Proficiency Exams
DELF-DALF All Audiences

DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language.

These certificates are valid for life. DELF and DALF consist of six independent certificates that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Exams can be taken one level per session or multiple levels during the same session.

Basic-Level User
DELF A1: FIAF class level 102, 103 and 201
DELF A2: FIAF class level 202, 203, 204 and 301

Independent User
DELF B1: FIAF class level 302, 303, 304 and 401
DELF B2: FIAF class level 402, 403, 404 and 405

Expert User
DALF C1: FIAF class level 501, 502 and 503
DALF C2: FIAF class level 504, 505 and 506

Note: Exam fee is not refundable.
Exam participation can only be transferred to the next session in case of sickness. A doctor’s note (not via email) must be mailed within the next three days of the test.
