TCF-ANF Test de Connaissance du Français pour l’accès à la nationalité française
As of January 1, 2012, persons wishing to acquire French nationality must attest to their level of spoken French, as ordered by France's decree of October 11, 2011. TCF ANF can be used to meet this requirement.
TCF ANF (Test de Connaissance du Français pour l’accès à la nationalité française) can be used to meet this requirement.
The TCF ANF is composed of 2 compulsory sections:
• Listening comprehension (30 questions) – 30 minutes
• Individual oral expression (6 questions) – 15 minutes with an evaluator
This test is given at a testing center recognized by the Centre International d’Études Pédagogiques, such as the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) in New York.
The Centre International d’Études Pédagogiques (CIEP) delivers your certificate through the testing center such as FIAF. Your certificate of “TCF pour l’accès à la nationalité française” is only valid to complete a request for French nationality acquisition. You cannot use it for admission to a French university or to complete your request for emigration to Québec.
