Conversation & Grammar

CG150 (Level A2)
CG250 (Level B1)
CG350 (Level B2)
CG450 (Level C1)

This course serves as a springboard for developing better conversational skills in French. You will learn how to apply the grammar rules learned in Fundamentals classes, and understand how they are used in spoken French.

Each teacher selects either a grammar book, vocabulary book, easy-to-read novel, short news article or videos to achieve the goals of this course. Discussions are followed by review of the grammar in context. Students are also given additional grammar assignments.

In this course you will:

  • Learn to express in a simple way your opinions and points of view
  • Review grammar points in context
  • Broaden your vocabulary
  • Improve your listening comprehension skills
  • Summarize and discuss a short text
  • Work on improving your pronunciation
  • Improve your reading comprehension
  • Expand your knowledge of French society
