Great Decisions Conversation (GD350)

Level B2 & C1

Level 350 conversation course based on articles in French from the American publication «GREAT DECISIONS 2007» (Foreign Policy Association) on the following topics: the U.S. and the Middle East; the international community responses to lessen the impact of dramatic climate change, the center-stage migration issues in the U.S. and EU; and health care, education and safety for the world’s children.

Business French (DFA350)

Level B2 & C1

This course covers two of the following themes: economic actors, business founders, human resources, marketing, business writing, results and trends.

In this course you will:

  • Improve your business language skills in order to deal with French speaking clients or business associates in your professional environment.
  • Develop your vocabulary as concerns the domains of politics, economy, government and business
  • Be introduced to the major business issues and events of contemporary France
  • Familiarize yourself with issues of concern and debate in contemporary French society

This course can also prepare students who want to take the DFA exams (Diplôme de Français des Affaires 1 et 2) from the French Chamber of Commerce.

Legal French (JUR350)

Level B2 & C1

This course allows students to develop an understanding of the specific vocabulary and idiomatic expressions relative to civil law and understand the structure of the major administrative and legal institutions of France and Europe. Students perfect both written comprehension and expression skills working on a wide range of legal documents and prepare for the exams of the French Chamber of Commerce.
