La France et Paris en poèmes et en chansons !

This course provides students with the opportunity to polish and perfect both their expression and comprehension skills through the extensive studying of selected songs by a wide variety of famous French-speaking singers. This course allows you to review the basic elements of grammar with special emphasis on the conjugation of verbs and new idiomatic expressions.

It also outlines the different aspects of the French way of life as well as highlights the obvious and sometimes confusing differences existing between the spoken and written forms of the French language, illustrating the old saying: “what you see is not necessarily what you hear and vice versa”.

Objectives

  • Broaden your vocabulary and learn new idiomatic expressions
  • Tune up your ears to French sounds so that you can better understand and be better understood
  • Review the basics of French grammar
  • Fix your faulty verb conjugation
  • Expand your knowledge of French culture
  • Improve your oral and written skills
  • Have some fun while learning French
