Course Description
This class will provide students with the opportunity to discuss culture through slang, everyday and proper French. Discover and practice idioms in given contexts. Together we will also find out how the French language developed throughout the years. We will discuss the level of language used in those idiomatic expressions as well as the forgotten use of the words used to create them. We will look at French culture from a historical, useful, and amusing angle allowing the students to understand the language under the language. This class will allow you to have a broader understand of French language and develop your ability to speak French in many different environments.
