Are you planning a trip to France soon? Let us help you prepare for it! This day-long workshop is designed to teach those traveling to France basic French and explain important French customs and behaviors. Through role playing, dialogues, visual aids, videos, games and authentic materials (maps, menus, etc), you will learn phrases for specific situations (airport, hotel, bank, train station, etc). This workshop also serves as a useful review for intermediate and advanced learners.

You will be placed in the simulated situation of a tourist in France:

  • In the morning, you will cover greetings, introductions, situations on the plane, asking for directions and ordering in a restaurant.
  • Lunch will be held in a local French restaurant, where participants will order in French.
  • In the afternoon, you will cover situations at the hotel, museum and the post office, numbers, shopping, clothing, telling time and transportation schedules.
