French as a Foreign Language

Give your child an educational advantage by learning French. All classes are designed according to age and ability, and are based on innovative French teaching methods that make language-learning fun.

Age groups
• Ages 5–6: Benjamins
• Ages 7–10: Minimes
• Ages 11–14: Cadets
• Ages 15–17: Juniors

After School or Saturdays
11 weeks: once a week, 90 minutes per class

3-Term Discounted Price: $985 (includes Fall, Winter, and Spring)

Placement Test
If your child is not a complete beginner he/she MUST TAKE a Placement Test before registering. A FIAF Instructor will help place your child in the class that fits with his/her level of fluency.

Beginner Level A1.1 (Level 101-105)
After completing Beginner Level courses, students will be able to express simple phrases in basic social situations.

Intermediate Level A1.2 (Level 201-205)
Expand vocabulary and language skills while developing the ability to discuss various topics of interest.

Advanced Level A2 (Level 301+)
Develop French communication skills with an emphasis on comprehension and fluency.

Levels vary depending on age group.
