This summer, kids embark on a thrilling adventure en français as they discover myths, legends, tales, and secrets from around the world!

Kids will laugh, play, explore, and stay active all summer long during these week-long full-day camps. Each day includes two language classes plus a variety of exciting activities including cooking, theater, art, music, and sports. Activities will change each week. Kids will visit the Asia Society, Central Park Zoo, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and other places around the city. They will enjoy workshops taught by Sheridan Fencing Academy, New York City Football Club, and others.

Whether your child is brand new to French or already proficient, these day camps will help them improve their French while having fun and making new friends.

Typical Day

9-9:10am: Drop-off and welcome
9:10-9:30am: Assembly
9:30-10:30am: French class by age and level
10:40-10:50am: Goûter (snack)
10:50-11:50am: Cultural activities such as dance, art, theater, or science (except on Friday)
11:50am-12:50pm: Artistic or sports activities (except on Friday)
12:50-1:50pm: Lunch and rest
1:50-2:50pm: French class by age and level (except on Friday)
2:50-4pm: Outdoor playtime
4-4:30pm: Assembly

Before-camp & After-camp Childcare available daily:

The savings and discounted prices listed in the table above are calculated for consecutive weeks starting with the June 19 camp.

Read Policies

Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after May 31, 2017.
Before May 31, a $150 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount. After May 31, you may withdraw any time before the start of the session for a credit minus the cancellation fee. No withdrawals are accepted after the start of a session. There are no allowances for absences, early withdrawals, or late starts. There is no pro-rating of fees. Emergency Contact Form
You must fill out an emergency contact form before the start of the summer session that your child is attending. The form will be sent to you via email before the start of the session. Your child may not attend class until this form is received. You only need to fill out the form once if your child is attending multiple sessions or programs over the summer.

Absence and Early Release Policy
If your child must leave early, written notice from a parent or guardian is required 24 hours in advance. There are no make-up classes for absences. FIAF must be notified if a child will be absent.

Instructions
Children must bring their own snack and lunch. A list of necessary clothing, arrival and dismissal arrangements, medical forms, and other pertinent paperwork will be mailed via email to parents before the start of the session. FIAF is not responsible for any lost belongings. Please clearly label all belongings with your child’s name.

Please Note
Every effort will be made to keep students with others of the same level. However programs are subject to change depending on enrollment and teacher availability.
