Go on an adventure with jokester jackal, discover the story of the Mongolian monster, and go on a journey with a pair of children who get lost in the woods !

This summer, your child will voyage to the four corners of the world while discovering the French language. Each week offers something new and exciting, with a wide range of activities including cooking, art, theater, fencing, and more.

Kids learn, explore, play, and grow in this program designed to immerse them in the French language while they have summer fun. Each day includes two language classes plus a variety of activities that change every week, including cooking, theater, art, music, and sports. Kids will visit the Asia Society, Central Park Zoo, The Met, and the American Museum of Natural History. Kids will enjoy workshops taught by Sheridan Fencing Academy, New York City Football Club, and more!

Typical Day

9-9:10am: Drop-off and welcome
9:10-9:30am: Assembly
9:30-10:30am: French class by age and level
10:40-10:50am: Goûter (snack)
10:50-11:50am: Cultural activities such as dance, art, theater, or science (except on Friday)
11:50am-12:50pm: Artistic or sports activities (except on Friday)
12:50-1:50pm: Lunch and rest
1:50-2:50pm: French class by age and level (except on Friday)
2:50-4pm: Outdoor playtime
4-4:30pm: Assembly

*No class on July 4. Price for July 3–7 is $620. The savings and discounted prices above are calculated for consecutive weeks and include the July 5 session in each case. If you replace the July 3 session with any $780 per week session, the amounts will be adjusted accordingly.

Read Policies

Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after May 31, 2017.
Before May 31, a $150 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount. After May 31, you may withdraw any time before the start of the session for a credit minus the cancellation fee. No withdrawals are accepted after the start of a session. There are no allowances for absences, early withdrawals, or late starts. There is no pro-rating of fees. Emergency Contact Form
You must fill out an emergency contact form before the start of the summer session that your child is attending. The form will be sent to you via email before the start of the session. Your child may not attend class until this form is received. You only need to fill out the form once if your child is attending multiple sessions or programs over the summer.

Absence and Early Release Policy
If your child must leave early, written notice from a parent or guardian is required 24 hours in advance. There are no make-up classes for absences. FIAF must be notified if a child will be absent.

Instructions
Children must bring their own snack and lunch. A list of necessary clothing, arrival and dismissal arrangements, medical forms, and other pertinent paperwork will be mailed via email to parents before the start of the session. FIAF is not responsible for any lost belongings. Please clearly label all belongings with your child’s name.

Please Note
Every effort will be made to keep students with others of the same level. However programs are subject to change depending on enrollment and teacher availability.
