The Haskell Library announces its newest collection: Quebec. This selection of materials has been made possible by a generous donation from the Quebec Government Office in New York.

This new phone APP allows you to purchase (@$5.99) and store on your portable phone the extremely popular "Essentials" programs produced by the Bien-Dire team of Lyon, France, such as "the Good Pronunciation Guide" "Se présenter" and "Authentically French expressions" (Levels A1-A2). The FIAF Library now offers language students a handy reference tool for conjugating verbs. The FIAF Verb Wheel shows 40 irregular French verbs. The wheel shows all six "persons" for six verb tenses: Présent, Imparfait, Futur, Conditionnel, Passé Composé et le Subjonctif présent. Irregular conjugations are indicated by a bold font. The verb wheels may be purchased at the Library for $5.

Venez apprivoiser notre petit Panda Pim! Nous vous proposons de découvrir une nouvelle méthode de langue, destinée à l’origine aux jeunes enfants, mais qui pourrait séduire les petits comme les grands ! Il s’agit d’un nouveau concept d'apprentissage du français, basée sur le principe d'association des sons, des animations et de la répétition. Chaque DVD permet d'apprendre 60 nouveaux mots ou  phrases du quotidien au travers de courtes séquences animées par un professeur inhabituel... un petit panda ! Little Pim est une méthode de langue très originale, conçue à l'origine pour les enfants de moins de 7 ans.
