FIAF’s
Haskell Library hosts a special program in French with acclaimed
Algerian author Boualem Sansal. The author will discuss his
work and writing process, and will answer questions. Moderated
by FIAF instructor Ouarda Bonsignour.
Based on a true story, his groundbreaking work, Le
Village de l’Allemand (The German Muhajid)
is the first Arab novel to confront the Holocaust, all
the while addressing equally controversial issues of contemporary
Muslim life in France.
