a thematical selection of any kind of web resources, from governmental sites to guides for philosophical research, by the National Library of France. A great resource for literature.

French Podcasts

The following is a list of suggested sites where you will find French language podcasts. These podcasts come in a variety of different topics: physics, arts, literature, French language learning, and much more! Here you can also find a number of radio shows that are popular in France. All podcasts are free and downloadable on your iPod via the iTunes store.

Podcasts from educational institutions:

Canal Académie
A francophone Internet radio dedicated to broadcasting high quality cultural programs and has more than 7 million listeners around the world, prestigious guests and thousands of archived programs available for free.

Cité des Sciences
The Cité des Sciences is Europe’s largest science museum. You can find downloadable podcasts on their website of conferences on a variety of educational topics.

Collège de France
The Collège de France is one of France’s premier research and teaching institutions. The Collège’s podcasts include conferences on sciences and humanities.

L’École Normale Supérieure de Paris
Listen to and watch videos of conferences that took place at the École normale supérieure de Paris. You may download podcasts of conferences on over 20 topics.

French Language Learning Podcasts:

Learn French with Daily Podcasts
Includes video vocabulary lessons as well as audio learning.
