Florence Gould Hall 'Name-a-Seat' Campaign

Each year at FIAF's Florence Gould Hall (FGH), thousands of patrons enjoy the best of French theater, music, dance, and film. As the largest and most prestigious center for French and francophone performing arts from around the world, FGH exists to promote French-American cultural exchange.

Inaugurated in 1988, this 400-seat theater is an acoustical masterpiece. Designed by renowned architects Peter George Associates and interior designer Andrée Putman, FGH presents music from the classics to pop, French theater with supertitles, dance, lectures and, of course, film. Recently renovated, the theater boasts a roll-down screen, newly refurbished seats, improved lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system.

With a tax-deductible donation of $500, $1,000 or $2,500, you can name a seat in honor or memory of a loved one, a new family member, a company, a special friend – or yourself! Your generous contribution will help us endow a fund for the maintenance and upgrading of this jewel on 59th Street for generations to come.

As a contributor to the Florence Gould Hall Name-a-Seat Campaign at one of the three levels cited below, you will receive:

Bleu Level – $500 ($440 tax-deductible portion)
An elegantly engraved brass plaque mounted on an armrest of the best available seat in Rows FF and R (see seating chart pdf) , recognition in FGH brochures and FIAF’s Annual Report, and a pair of tickets to an event at FGH in your seat and adjacent (or nearest pair).

Blanc Level – $1,000 ($910 tax-deductible portion)
An elegantly engraved brass plaque mounted on the back of the best available seat that we will select for you in Rows AA-EE or E-P (see seating chart pdf), recognition in FGH brochures and FIAF’s Annual Report, a pair of tickets to an event at FGH in your seat and adjacent (or nearest pair), plus two additional tickets for guests to the selected event.

Rouge Level – $2,500 ($2,410 tax-deductible portion)
An elegantly engraved brass plaque mounted on the back of the seat of your choice from those available in Rows A-D (see seating chart pdf), recognition in FGH brochures and FIAF’s Annual Report, a pair of tickets to an event at FGH in your seat and adjacent (or nearest pair), two additional tickets for guests to the selected event, plus a free one-year membership at the Associate level and the many benefits it provides, including:
- Free admission to CinèmaTuesdays
- Waived registration fee when enrolling in FIAF’s Language Center
- Invitations to member-only events, receptions, and conversation groups
- Member’s discount for FIAF Art de Vivre events
- Member’s discount for FIAF performing arts events at Florence Gould Hall
