Celebrate France's national holiday with a gourmet feast and festive party hosted by FIAF at the beautiful Van Vleck House & Gardens in Montclair!

This year's celebration has been specially crafted to delight your palate. An exclusive gourmet French buffet will be prepared by Michelin-rated chef Nicolas Houlbert (Boulud, Ze Kitchen Galerie and Mavrommatis) and a team of top chefs — Chef Charcutier Aurelien Dufour, Executive Pastry Chef Jayce Baudry, and Executive Chef Boulanger François Brunet — from the best restaurants in Paris. A selection of amuse-bouche and a repas campagnard will be paired with delicious wines and desserts.

Singer-songwriter Violette and La Vie En Rose Band will keep you swinging all night with timeless American standards and French jazz songs.

Plus, you'll have a chance to win fabulous French-themed prizes. Each guest will receive one complimentary prize drawing ticket. Additional prize drawing tickets can be purchased at the event to increase your odds of winning.

About the Chefs

Nicolas Houlbert, an Executive Chef with over 20 years of experience, earned a Michelin star for both Ze Kitchen Galerie and Mavrommatis restaurants in Paris. After three years as Executive Chef for Daniel Boulud in the US, he is currently working on a new project in NYC that will debut in September 2018. Follow him on Instagram: @nicolashoulbert

For this special Bastille Day celebration, Nicolas will collaborate with top French chefs: Aurelien Dufour, an international award-winning Chef Charcutier in New York and a frequent collaborator with world-famous Paris charcutier Gilles Verot; Jayce Baudry, a top Executive Pastry Chef who has worked in Paris alongside world pastry champion Christophe Michalak; and François Brunet, an Executive Chef Boulanger who has worked with the world's most decorated Michelin Star chef, Joël Robuchon.

About the Artist

Raised in Ars-en-Re, a small village on an island off the French Atlantic Coast, and now making her home in Montclair, New Jersey, singer-songwriter Violette began her musical journey at an early age, taking up the piano at age five and later learning percussion while at Conservatory. Her musical endeavors were clearly colored by influences from such French luminaries as Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf but quickly found her tastes and palette ranging much further with the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. Violette’s latest album, Falling Strong, showcases a collection of originals that, although rooted in jazz, reflect the young artist’s eclectic range of musical influences from pop to rock and R&B.
