Make an IRA Charitable Rollover

Keep the spirit of giving alive! This holiday season make a special contribution to FIAF through your individual retirement account. Due to the IRA Charitable Rollover tax incentive individuals aged 70½ and older may donate up to $100,000 from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Roth IRAs to public charities without having to count the distributions as taxable income. This unique opportunity expires on December 31st. Please consult the information sheet below for details about giving to FIAF via IRA.

Make a Gift of Securities & Other Investments

Keep investing. Appreciated securities including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds is another way you can help FIAF. Read this pdf to learn more about the benefits of non-cash giving, donating stock certificates, transfering shares electronically, the effective date and value of your gift, and mutual funds. FIAF may also accept gifts of real estate, patents, collections, and other less traditional gifting vehicles.

Make a Tribute or Memorial Gift

Keep the memories. Giving a gift in tribute of a loved one or a special occasion is a wonderful way to honor someone while supporting FIAF. Opportunities include: Florence Gould Hall’s Name-a-Seat Program; purchasing equipment for the Haskell Library or the FIAF Language Center; sponsoring a classroom or professor; or other desired naming opportunities. All memorial and honor gifts will be acknowledged through a personal note sent by FIAF to the honored person(s) or their family and, if appropriate, with a plaque.
