Marouan Benabdallah, part of the new
generation of emerging Moroccan pianists,
makes his U.S. debut at Carnegie Hall.
With a thoughtful approach to classical
western music cultivated at the Béla Bartók
Conservatory and the Franz Liszt Academy
in Budapest, Benabdallah's international
career began in 2003 following his success
at the Hungarian Radio Piano Competition
and his winning the Andorra Grand Prize.
Upcoming performances include debut concerts
at the Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.),
the Castleton Festival (VA) with Lorin Maazel,
and the Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires). |
